Beschreibung Initially, Maneskin was based in Rome. The Italian group was formed just two years after the band's founder was born. Their music is a blend of rock and pop. Their lead singer has a reggae voice. The band was mentored by Manuel Agnelli, who previously fronted rock band Afterhours. With their first release, "Moriro da Re," Maneskin captured the hearts of the music industry and eventually won the Eurovision Song Contest. In addition to being an Italian band, Maneskin also has a Danish name. Maneskin means "moonlight" in English. The band was chosen as Italy's representative for the Eurovision 2021 songwriting competition. Interestingly, Victoria, the band's lead singer, is half Danish.
